This is a poster that I designed for the Academy of American Poets Annual National Poetry Month. The theme of the month for this poem is titled: “Tell all the truth but tell it slant.” The poster I created was 24 inches wide and 36 inches in height, but the requirements meant that the poster should be able to be sent via traditional mail—in envelope format. That means that when the poster is folded, it should be 6 inches wide and 9 inches in height. When folded into a letter format, the poster shows only a single line. But as the poster is opened and unfolded, the message expands to reveal the entire poem. To complement this design, I also created a motion piece for use on social media.
