Shoplifters' title sequence
| motion project
Shoplifters is a Japanese film about connections between people—where bonds are built through love rather than through blood and money. For this project, I took 5 different pieces of fabric, each representing the personality and character of the five family members depicted in the movie. Each piece of fabric was then quilted together to represent something bigger than its individual parts. Similar to how each piece of the quilt comes from a different place, or family—coming together creates an invaluable sense of belonging and purpose.
